Julieta GalanteJulieta Galante is a research student based at the Clinical Epidemiology IRG, School of Medicine, Cardiff University. Her PhD project is entitled: 'Internet trial of the effect of loving-kindness meditation (LKM) on the psychological resources available to men and women aged 40-59 years' and investigates if LKM increase the psychological resources available to middle aged men and women? Specifically is there an increase in social support, purpose in life and perceived health leading to reduction of depression, anxiety and anger, and increase in self esteem and life satisfaction. The principal outcome is self-esteem. |
