Kate Lifford Dr Kate Lifford is based at the Institute of Medical Genetics, Cardiff University. She is currently working on the BUPA Foundation funded project 'A psychological evaluation of familial ovarian cancer screening (PsyFOCS)', which aims to explore women’s reasons for taking part in the ovarian screening programme and the effects of regular screening on anxiety and worry.
